Washi X is a color negative film that renders warm toned and saturated images. The absence of orange mask make the saturation of this film very peculiar and rich, with a 40's and 50's color images vibe. It can be processed in both C-41 and E6 positive film process.
Lomig Perrotin of Film Washi started working on this kind of emulsions back in 2015, specifically with a 400 ISO emulsion with no orange mask that was mainly used for aerial surveillance. The amazing photographic results of that emulsion have initially led to the production of a 400 ISO film in 2015, and now to this very version of Washi Film X 100 ISO.
